For the Walker Art Center's Free First Saturday: Picture This, I created a portrait studio filled with taxidermy birds in the Walker Art Center's Cargill Lounge. I made portraits of museum visitors in this scene inspired by a historic portrait of naturalist Martha Maxwell's daughter Mabel. These are a few of the portraits made that day.
